Applying the Montessori Method in Highland Heights, KY

Our new home! Visit Cornerstone Montessori School in our new home in Highland Heights - just minutes from I-471. Local News: Parents made new Montessori school possible
Moving into the new building is a goal fulfilled for founder and director Mary Schadler. She opened Cornerstone in 1992 with 24 pre-primary students. As interest in the Montessori method grew, she and her dedicated parents and teachers continued to expand the school until it became a respected Montessori preprimary and grade school affiliated with the American Montessori Society.
Cornerstone Montessori educates children ages 3 through 12 using a traditional Montessori approach. Classroom exercises are individualized, allowing students to progress at their own pace. Math, science, language, art, music, practical life skills and sensorial works tie into the physical universe, the world of nature, and the human experience. In this way, one lesson leads to many others.
The new facility contains beautifully renovated classrooms and student work and play areas. Visit and see for yourself.
